SHEEN, a parish, with a village, in Leek district, Stafford; on the river Dove, 8 miles WSW of Bakewell railway station. Post-town, Allstonefield, under Ashborne. Acres, 2,790. Real property, £4,246. Pop., 427. Houses, 87. The property is much subdivided.

The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Lichfield. Value, £63. Patron, A.J.B. Hope, Esq. The church was mainly rebuilt in 1829. There is an endowed school with £13 a year.
